I am looking for info on an old Matchbox or Hotwheels Fire Engine. It looks like Old #5 but in a larger scale. It has a driver figure and 2 more on the rear jump board. I had one when I was a kid in the late 70's early 80's. It was red and the figures were black with old European style turnout gear on. ANY IDEAS????? :freak:

This is not the one I was referring to, but is probably closer. It is a Corgi also. (Someone with more Corgi knowledge can step in anytime.)
This may also be a new release of an old cast. It is 1:50 scale. The truck I was referring to was the American La France Ladder Truck. It came with 4-6 firemen figures 5 in the cab and 1 riding in the basket.. It too was a Corgi not sure about the scale. It was released in 1968 first. There is also the Simon snorkel fire truck released in 64. It also came with figures.
Hope this helps you.
