Also, wouln't it be nice if AW used the same gearing as Aurora T-jets with AW armatures?

That would be outstanding for AW to do.
If AW regeared the AWTJs to a 9 tooth pinion gear, there would be much happiness in my house...
And the cars would be so much smoother and easier to drive...

I agree Scott and Mike,

At this point I don't have the luxury of space. My short little dog leg track mashed up against the wall in an 8x11 room is as big as it's gonna be for some time. sigh...

Big pinion cars aren't much fun to drive on my track, so I set most my cars up with 9 tooth pinions. I need quick more than I need fast.

Most of my original tall gear cars just sit because their full potential cant be used. Probably a good thing! ;)

Even if I could utilize longer straight aways, I still dont find the big pinion cars much fun in the technical turns.

Of course if I had a long super oval with wide radius turns I'd be singin a different tune. LOL.

Tom probably had to purchase a half-million of the other gears though. Might make a nice tune-up kit piece, however.

I bet not...
I bet AW didn't buy any individual parts. I bet that AW bought complete chassis.
