I'm fairly mechanically inclined and I have already fixed the problem on the engine. Never have done small engine repair so just wanted some guidance.

I'm putting the engine back together and now starting to worry about the timing on the engine. I forgot to mark the gears to know where exactly to put them back. I know it does have the key timing gear which connects to the camshaft.

Anyone have any advice on how I need to position those gears correctly so I have the right timing?

The gears are already marked at the factory. There will be 2 marks to line up, 1 on crankshaft gear, and 1 on the cam shaft gear. Align timing marks on cam and crankshaft gears so they are together.

Thanks for the reply! I found the marks and lined them up!
