This is a 1957 Cadillac Barritz made by Solido from France. I believe that I bought this model in the middle 1980's. They were inexpensive then and are still seen at train shows and diecast shows for about the same price as 20 or so years ago. Many O gauge model railroaders bought these Solido models for their train layout. These later Solido models had many American made models available.

Found this post on Diecast Zone's Forum 43 (http://www.diecast.org/diecast98/html/asp/forums/forum43/default.asp) relating to the Solido Eldorado and a rare hardtop clone by Elegance (which sells for over $300.00!)
