I am working on a Briggs and Stratton 5hp, Model 130292 Type 0700-01 Code 82011207. The engine is in need of an overhaul. I have looked for a replacement engine or a short block. According to Briggs none are available. I pulled up a parts breakdown on the engine ,but the breakdown is not like this engine. On this engine there is a second drive shaft coming off of where the camshaft is located. The parts book does not show this. Has any one seen this type of setup? The engine is used on a Troy-Bilt Pony tiller. Does anyone know of a replacement engine for this tiller?

Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Russ.

these duuuoo drive brigs are rare and you must rebuild them or find a used 1 to replace. the main shaft is for the tiller drive the second drive is for the wheel drive. they both run opisite of each other. I have seen them on more snow blowers than tillers
