It is a large outdoor track and someone on the tracks website should be able to point you in the right direction for selecting an 1/8 scale racer. However, 1/8 onroad cars (which are 2wd, not 4wd in most cases) run $1,000 and up. Try things like the Serpent Veteq which is around $1,000; not including engine and electronics. If you are looking at 4wd, then there's the Serpent 960 Edition '07, which is $1,085 (list). Engines are astronomical, with some of the competitive people in this area spending $700-800 per engine. If you are just looking at having fun, then the Ofna GTP will suit you well, but until you've seen a good 1/8 onroad race, you haven't seen a real race! :) azcau 05-26-2007, 01:04 AM I bought my Mugen MRX4-R with an RB S7C all brand new (unused second hand) off eBay for US$800 . It also included $200 worth of new JR servos . Hunt for a deal on the newest , best stuff you can , don't be buying cheap crap . You can get 4R's and 960's online for around US$500 and a motor for a couple of hundred . The S7C is a perfect starter . Or even try the Go-Tech 7 port . It's a buggy motor but it's cheap , well built and goes like stink . vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
