jbrooks39 04-24-2007, 08:19 PM No need to swing when you have a history of winning performance on your side....
GRAMMAR ALERT!!! GRAMMAR ALERT!!!
Sonny mispelled a word above. Whine indeed has an "H" in it, Sonny.
Sonny's quote should have read:
No need to swing when you have a history of whinning performance on your side....
Who loves you, Sonny?
JB, that's who!!!
DMP_SMOKE 04-24-2007, 09:34 PM yes Joseph I will do my best to talk clear and no filth, but u know that will be very hard for a well speaking man such as me.

Seems to me a JB sighting at MPR is pretty rare also from what my spys are telling me!!!...
Randy Baker 04-25-2007, 05:07 AM Dave , refering to your earlier post to Joe about Real Race cars , Actually REAL RACE CARS don't have doors ,windows or fenders . As to refering to a sprinter as a doorstop , well I gotta admit to stuffing them under a rail or fence a time or two myself . That was a good one , doorstop . Hope to see ya this weekend ,
Randy

I believe the doorstop reference was really directed toward a dirt late model and the "upside down, reversed flying shovel" look as I believe only Dave Dygon could so eloquently describe. :freak:
Either way, we all have our favorites.
JB
dangerousdave 04-25-2007, 09:27 AM DMP, first may I ask not to be CAP LOCKED, whip me beat me but please don't CAP LOCK me as it would ruin 3 years of intence therapy to over come the last time you did that. If any readers know DMP Smoke you will undrestand that he is a much better weenie chef than a racer. (LOL). As for "The Plaid Machine" AKA "JB" what can I say, his title pretty much tells the whole story in a NUT shell.

Actually, "Real race cars do have door even if they don't open", that's what I was brought up with.

dangerousdave 04-25-2007, 11:18 PM Now we got our own trash talking thread and no one as any trash to talk, how's that working out. I guess JB is out sheet shopping with who knows, and DPM is busy buying weenies. Team E with 3 car is working on cars all week to kick those flatlanders butts on Saturday. I am ready to make my way south this Saturday, all the way to the track so look out(weather permitting, my disclaimer).
Dave D
DMP_SMOKE 04-26-2007, 04:39 AM this saturday is the memorial race, not a good time to come and start racing David
DP
dangerousdave 04-26-2007, 09:20 AM So that's how it works , I am finally going to make it to the track and DMP tells me not to come and race. I don't get it...
We will be there!!!...

Dave D.
I think you misunderstood what Dave P. was trying to say. Definitely come down this weekend. I think his point was that it is tough having a "big" race be your first race (for your nephew). That's all (I think).
JB
dangerousdave 04-26-2007, 02:39 PM I think you are thinking the same thing I am thinking, does that make sence or am I thinking something different!!!... LOL
We thouhgt we would see how it goes before committing to race, Mike thought he would like to see how things are run before getting a lesson from the pro,s at MPR. I did tell him to watch out for that Dave P guy on the track, but I guess he is in the kitchen cooking and not racing so problem solved.
Dave D

When there is an actual question asked, I will answer. E.G., there were no questionmarks in the text above, therefore there cannot be any questions which require an answer. Correct? Wait, that was a question... and the answer is a resounding "yes".
JB
Plaid to be here.
DMP_SMOKE 04-26-2007, 08:18 PM ??????????
this should cover all my questions when I forget to put the ? in
now don't be a smart butt, it's a game show and if you don't particpate you will thrown off the show, Dave D was a great contestant, and all his prizes will be sent to his home. So if you want yours obey the rules
jbrooks39 04-26-2007, 10:50 PM note: questions edited for grammar and punction
OK, Joe, where are you from?
Freeport, IL originally. I currently reside in Loves Park, IL.
Will you ever get your sprint car done for the races this year?
Yes, without a doubt I will get my sprint car done for the races this year. As for putting a specific date on my arrival at the track with the sprint car done; I cannot speculate on such a date.
Thanks for the questions. Feel free to ask more; I'd even welcome some questions from our viewers or listeners out there. SMACK TALK is one of my favorite threads; I just wish we could get more MPR racers to logon and start some SMACK of their own.
JB

ghilber 04-30-2007, 08:23 AM Dave - I would have been there but I had an unexpected sponsor appearance to attend (IE work). Since they pay the bills, its hard to say no.
dangerousdave 04-30-2007, 09:29 AM Mike had a GREAT time Saturday and can't wait to race. With some minor adjustments and some more of that special MPR team fuel (that stuff smelt funny) we should be able to run with Justin and some day Dave. It was also good to see long time X Racer "Team Plaid" AKA JB. At least when I did get to the track I had a car!!!...
Dave D

DMP_SMOKE 04-30-2007, 09:06 PM he sounds like he is p****d off, but i see him smiling from here :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
dangerousdave 05-01-2007, 01:44 AM Come on JB is just a big plaid teddy bear don't let a few harsh words make you think he is really mad, we can see right through you JB. I like his use of the little steamed looking guy(nice effect) JB. And don't you think the "Mr. Brooks" part is a little over the top????????...
After thinking about your "Mike to the rear" you must be thinking that Mike will be at the front of his races. Thanks for the strong support JB, I kinda was thinking the same thing Mike out front, works for me.
I will edit another time to see if Mr. Brooks is watching this thread or has any more words of encouragement for my young driver. "Mike" is starting to worry about you JB. He did asked me to remind you to please leave your black flag at home...
Team Dd
dangerousdave 05-04-2007, 09:00 AM It's hard to believe that after all this time not one of you clowns has had any thing to say or give me crap about. I am alittle disappointed in all of the MPR regulars!!!....
Dave D
jbrooks39 05-04-2007, 09:07 AM I am alittle disappointed in all of the MPR regulars!!!....

Team Dd
DMP_SMOKE 05-04-2007, 03:07 PM not sure his leash will reach that far, although he was there last night , but thats because he was driving in the area

dangerousdave 05-05-2007, 02:21 AM Rumor has it JB has a sprint car, but then again it is just a rumor I guess!!!...
Dave D
DMP_SMOKE 05-05-2007, 06:03 AM he was at track last night but all i saw was 1 rr tire and a temp gun, if thats is his sprint car he has a long way to go ;)
jbrooks39 05-05-2007, 07:36 AM What sprint car???
JB
dangerousdave 05-05-2007, 07:23 PM I guess I will give a race report for those REGULARS(with sprint cars)   that could not get to the track today. Team Element driver Big Dog came out fast and won the first heat, Butch S 2nd, Lil Dog Paul 3rd, and rookie driver Mike D 4th, I think Justin 5th and Doug rounding out the field. Butch S won the 2nd heat, Big Dog Greg in 2nd, Lil Dog Paul 3rd, Mike D 4th, Justin 5th, and Doug. The main saw some great racing with Butch and Greg up front, Paul running in 3rd Mike in 4th followed by Doug and Justin, but then Paul had some trouble with handling retiring to the pit. Mike took over the 3 position. Then a rare problem for Butch S finished his day early giving way for Mike to move into 2nd position.Team Element Big Dog Greg went on to win the main Mike D finished 2nd 6 laps down Justin finished 3 14 laps back. I am not sure about the rest of the order because Paul did return to the track. Mike said this is cool racing and can't wait till next week!!!...
