I bought this Javelin when it first came out, in KMart back in '73. I played with it, and as a consequence it lost its tow hook. However, it has a chromed hood scoop rather than plain black plastic.

I like this casting. Nobody else bothered to make one - Play Art had an earlier model year and Hot Wheels made the AMX. It is nice and chunky, and still well-modelled at the same time.

I bought mine early in 1974,when I first saw it -and I have never seen a chrome scoop issue in the metal, but I know they are about. My favourite issue is the first blue with opening doors from the twinpack -these colours really suit the casting

Wonderful, its still factory fresh in the blister.I dont open blisters unless the blister is common..........and the car is pocket money value (I guess that means just Hotwheels t-hunts  )
