Hi all:

I was given a new mower with a B&S 6.75 125K02-0457 engine (got from a friend who works at warehouse and the mower was dropped about 4 feet and can not be sold). Someone took the carb off of it and and replaced it with another that I don't know is correct. The engine is brand new otherwise.

DOes anyone have the Carb part number for this engine so I can see if I can buy one? Or verify that one I have is the correct carb that needs rebuilt? (my friend took the carb off and exchanged it with a customer who had a bad carb, it leaks gas)

If you can help, I would appreciate it.

Briggs IPL list 3 carburators for this engine model and type numbers

Carburator with prime system P/N 498170

Carburator with choke system P/N 499059

Carburator with auto choke P/N 790845

Mine has the prime choke. Thanks for the help. At least I know what to look for now.

When I pulled the carb off that was on it (the orignal was swapped for this one) I see the carb has a 6150 stamped on it. Is this the same one?

Dave here's a IPL for your engine. Look on page 3 and see if the primer carburator looks like the one you have.
