I have a Traxxas Stampede xl5 all stock and im wondering if i can run a 9.6v battery pack in it. its the kind of battery pack that comes with the cheap old walmart rc cars n' trucks... :confused:

Yes, but if the pack is made from AA cells it will ruin them. If it's a regular sized subC pack (like it is supposed to be) then it should be geared down to avoid overheating.
