I've heard that the 1/64 scaled 5 packs come with plastic tires instead of real rubber ones like the single packs. Anybody know if this is true?

View Full Version : Rubber or Plastic Tires? BIGLOU75 04-09-2007, 12:57 AM I've heard that the 1/64 scaled 5 packs come with plastic tires instead of real rubber ones like the single packs. Anybody know if this is true? Milezone 04-09-2007, 11:19 AM That would be a first for Jada. Hopefully they do not start that trend, we all like them rubber tires. Russ Roy Nakamura 04-09-2007, 11:35 AM Of all the zillion 5 Packs I've bought over the years the wheels/tires have been identical to the single BP versions. Joe Falco 04-09-2007, 11:58 AM Biglou, that was true for Muscle Machines 5 packs/blisters. Never heard of a plastic tire Jada. The two police cars in that set could throw a person off with the back tires as they are so thick and not treaded that they almost look plastic. They feel like rubber to me. Joe www.joesdiecastshack.com (http://www.joesdiecastshack.com) Yea, I think this is the confusion... it was Muscle machines that did this, not Jada SuperSport 04-09-2007, 03:38 PM This thread had me scared for a minute. JADA's fake rubber tires are kinda like one of their hallmarks. BIGLOU75 04-10-2007, 01:35 AM OK, my bad. Maybe I did get it confused with the Muscle Machines 5 packs.
