At the 1977 Le Mans 24 Hours, the works Martini-Porsche team entered two 936/77s. The lead car, #3, was driven by Ickx & Pescarolo, however, it retired in the fourth hour with engine problems.

Ickx then transferred to the #4, to drive alongside Barth & Haywood. Against strong opposition from the Alpine-Renaults, the #4 prevailed and took home the champagne. An excellent model from Minichamps.

The winning #4 from 1977, with the 1st placed #20 936/76 from 1976 & the pole setting #5 936/78 from 1978. The '76 & '78 cars are by Trofeu.
