whats the difference between the offset hub axle and center hub axle and whats the advantage of it thanks

the difference between the two are 1.5245 inches for the off set and 1.2435 for the standard hub. that is the length of the right side diff hubs from top to bottom.. off set hub is mainly used for running the off set pod and the standard is for the standard pod so the difference is .281 inches hope this helps. do u measure the hub to tell if its offset or centered is that the right side hub or left thanks

those are the measurements for the right side diff hub. you can tell the difference by looking at them. the shorter one is standard. and the longer is off set. as for the left side hub i only use the standard oneso not sure on the size difference. butmost people use the standard on the left side anyway. bascially if you run your pod offset you run the longer right hub.. if you run your pod centered you run the shorter right hub.. same goes for the left side but opposite.. offset pod uses a shorter left side hub, and centered uses a longer left side hub. the main reason for the different lengths is so you dont have to shim the heck out of the axles when using one or the other..

There is no advantage as far as the hubs go, but there is performence differences when running offset or centered pod.. it depends on the track, class, and over all preference,,
