Ixo must have found that their Tatra & Volga have sold very well, as they have announced a series of cars from behind the "Iron Curtain" - I know someone who will be buying them......It also seems that Abrex have mission to model every Skoda built - more bad news for my credit card!

Cheers,

Steve

Some true classics, I still remember seeing quite some Skodas 120 around here, but that was 20 years ago. :o
Trabant is very cool too....is it made from plastic like it should be? :p

Let the Yugo jokes begin :)

Actually, some really nice models here. Some really cool Russian car ideas for some adventurous manufacturer:
- GAZ-M13 government car
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaika_%28car%29

- UAZ-469 off-road car (Russian Wrangler, if you will)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UAZ-469

- KAMAZ heavy trucks, perhaps in Paris-to-Dakar wininng livery
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamaz

- GAZ AA truck (can just re-use the Ford Model AA truck casting ;)

The one Tatra I'd love to see is is Tatra T77 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatra_%28car%29#Prewar_streamliners).

Drag coefficient of 0.21!!! Inspiration for the Ferdinand Porsche's original VW Beetle and, by extension, the early Porsche cars. Very important car, deserves a nice model.
