What gearing range for a 4300 would you all recommend for an ashpalt paved oval track that is approx. 365 ft. w/ slight banking (www.carolinarc.com (http://www.carolinarc.com))? I know the actual gearing will vary depending on the actual motor, track, etc. but was wanting an idea of where to start. Also, how do you determine whether to gear up or down with these motors? Is there an optimum temp? I've never run brushless before, and it's also been awhile since I've raced at all. Thanks for the help.

I think this response is related as I was told when running a Komodo at a 1.95 roll out that to run a 13.5 Novak you'd have to gear around 2.60-2.70 .
I quess " Just a alot higher "

We run on a flat 300' track and we rollout around 3.50 so I would say you would need to be around 3.75+ rollout. +5-6 teeth from 19t

We run about 3.65-3.70 at the Triclone for roll out and the run line is 364 ft. However that is not a true oval.
