I am looking for a inexpensive timer type charger that will do 4-cell Nimh batts. When I am done with a batt for the day would like to be able to throw it on a timer charger for a 15 min charge @ 3-4 amps so it will have some juice in it until next time. Timer would let me do other things and not put too much charge back in. Thanks Ralf

Dynamite (http://www.dynamiterc.com/Products/Chargers/Default.aspx) makes decent and inexpensive chargers. You might try them.

how long before you race the next time? usually when your done with your run, whatever is left is more than enough to store until the next race.. unless your running till your flat.

if you have a smaller chager like an ICE or something, you can set a profile to charge on "capacity/mah" and program it to charge only like 10~12% mah of whatever you have. that'll be enough for about 1-2 weeks of storage.
