I've got a 10 m Ninco track, and I am planning to mount this on a 240x120 plate. I want to combine my tracks with a wooden track in MDF mounted on a second 240x120 plate.
1. How is the best method to connect these things together? I mean connection on plates, track/mdf, metal on track/copper tape on mdf.
2. The ninco track has 2 x 14V DC input, one for each lane, is this enough on the whole track, or do I need extra power on the copper MDF track section?
3. I'm also connecting diode sensors on copper track to an external lapcounter on a PC, how do I do this the best way. Using parallell port, LPT1 from PC. Any1 got connection schematics?
4. I want some start lights also connected to the lapcounter software, how?
Thanks to all who reply !
