Stein died of congestive heart failure in Los Angeles, California on March 15, 2007.

Just showed the original Creech to the kids Friday for a break...was later walking down the hall when I realized I was whistling the musical stinger ("da-da-DEE!!!"). Cool theme, will have to rent the others now just to hear the tracks.
