ParkRNDL 03-24-2007, 11:45 AM I read somewhere that it was cycolac: http://www.geplastics.com/gep/Plastics/en/ProductsAndServices/ProductLine/cycolac.html I also read it was the same stuff they ysed to make telephone casings out of... remember Princess phones in colors like turquoise and olive green? --rick SCJ 03-24-2007, 12:55 PM Cycolac is correct, it is the material listed on most of the original Aurora body blueprints we have. Nylatron gs for most of the Aurora chassis blueprints we have. -------------------------- www.SlotCarJohnnies.com (http://www.slotcarjohnnies.com/) Bill Hall 03-24-2007, 05:46 PM I have yet to find something other than fire to reliably emulsify the nylatron. The Alchemy continues. T-Jet Racer 03-24-2007, 07:14 PM So the Dash body should glue up with goo. Sheet styrene is abs also? Bill Hall 03-24-2007, 07:36 PM Dont know for sure. I do know that the cement/activator is basically the same for both products. It's on my list of to do's. Try a test skim underneath where you can get at it. I'm fairly certain it'll be OK. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
