Forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere, but SciFi has announced the following...

Sci Fi Channel has increased its fourth season order of "Battlestar Galactica" to 22 episodes.

The order will include a special two-hour "Battlestar" event to air during the fourth quarter of 2007 on Sci Fi, and will also be released on DVD (the "event" is said to deal with the Battlestar Pegasus shortly after the start of Cylon War II).

Previously, the network announced a reduced "Battlestar" season order of 13 episodes rather than 22. The fourth season will premiere in early 2008. "Battlestar" is executive produced by Ronald D. Moore and David Eick.

Yes, somewhat old news, but still worthy of passing on. I'd not heard for sure about their "tele-movie" special event thing being a Pegasus story. Thanks for that, Rob!

So this season is about to end and we will have to wait for about a year to see the 4th season.

Hope that is enough time to create good, solid stories!

Not there was anything wrong with any of the episodes. Including "BlackMarket".

Well, we do get the Pegasus movie during that time, too...

Interesting.

I heard about the 22 episode thing, but not about the Pegasus movie (tele-event/DVD movie)

Sounds like quite an interesting idea. We might get to see a bit more of the attack. We get to see the scorpion fleetyards all blown to heck and how Cain delt with her own 'rag-tag fleet'.

Could be quite good in fact.

Maybe they'll redesign the Pegasus.........

One can only wish.

This is the part I'm interested in seeing. Right now we have this one sided view based on a "Galactica-centric" presentation - ya know, the Pegasus crew are a bunch of fascists lead by a tyrant and they've done some really crappy things to survive. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a story that turns this perception on it's head, an "in their shoes" way of looking at things that RM/DI seem to be so good at.
