Both models are by Trax. Whilst these were made in Australia, I'm sure, they will be familiar to American eyes :)

I like the Valiant better Steve.

Here's a pic of the car that was used in the 1971 "Duel" movie. I'm not sure, but I think it's a 1970 or 1971 model.
