I'm looking for a simple, user-friendly 2-D CAD program with which to create plan views and construction diagrams for a scale model project I wish to scratch-build. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

whats cool about sketchup, is i *think* you can add it to google world map or something if you make your building or something...

(dont quote me on that.. i read about it somewhere)
