yuk17bandit 03-23-2007, 08:47 AM are the sintered rotors ok to use over there in 13.5 class? any body rules or anything like that i need to know about? thx
cheese head # 19879328
yokman 03-23-2007, 09:25 AM yo cheesehead......yes sintered rotors are ok in all classes.rear of bodies can be cut out and all that jazz.i belive the only thing that is going to be checked it the motors with a meter
jason crist 03-23-2007, 09:37 AM no the back of the body can't be cut out.....
this race is far enough in advance and burkie has been trying to get guys to run the rear of the body in the cars.
he has been letting guys run but this is a money race and the body should be full and no cut outs.....run 4 cell stock if you want to cut the back out..
just my canadian penny
burkie can confirm on the rules for this race....
rockin_bob13 03-23-2007, 10:04 AM Hobbytown, Indy is proud to be a sponsor of this marvelous event.
yokman 03-23-2007, 10:10 AM so is hofer plastering and i say cut them bodies out.crist the brl will be over so lose sum weight of that body.you know cut a few ounces off here and there.
6 cell stock indy car 4 sure.
jason crist 03-23-2007, 03:18 PM i wonder if i can cut my back out of my body and put it on the indy car 6 cell stock for the velo ?
since the last race they will let you cut the back of the body out for the last race of the season
6 cell indy car stock
since i'll be running 4300 in nascar
i only have one 4300 motor
jason crist 03-26-2007, 08:51 AM you guy's who think your the man in 13.5 class

track record is 75 5:02 set by YOKMAN and would have had a 76 easily but some guys where fight for 2nd and help him up.

yokman 04-04-2007, 01:28 PM roll call 4 this weekend.who and what class.
4300 and 13.5 for me.
ToddFalkowski 04-04-2007, 02:34 PM Think I'll be there.... 4300...
IndyRC_Racer 04-04-2007, 04:25 PM I'll be there for 13.5 at least with the rear of my body left IN and a 13.5 pro motor. Will bring a oval touring car (with Nastruck/foam) in case there is a good turn out for that class too.
AllahAkbar 04-04-2007, 05:53 PM 4300 for myself. I may run 13.5, but only if I can run the same body (with the back cut out). That is if we have a good size turnout with plenty of time.
Burke, whats the word on body rules for 13.5? Is it going to be a problem to have them cut out for this weekend? Also, if we are going to be running official BRL Rules, are the sintered arms legal?
Rodknocker 04-04-2007, 06:10 PM I think that the rules should stand as they have been there all year not the BRL rules.
1) it's not a BRL race
2)the only 13.5 motors you can buy now have the sintered arms in them.
3) the back cut out of the body doesn't really make a difference in 13.5
4) Make it as easy as possible for the Max amount of entries for the last race of the year.
latemodel100 04-04-2007, 07:30 PM Just to chime in and say good luck to all this weekend, I am getting closer and closer to the day I leave to go back overseas, maybe by the time I get back we will all know weather or not the back can be cut out or not for all classes or even just one, hahahahaha............... Thank you for your service to our country!! I have a tremendous amount of respect for all serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. I thank God everyday for the men and women like yourself putting your life on the line for the freedoms we all cherish. God Bless!

left lane 04-04-2007, 11:02 PM I just mounted some side dams, cut out the front windshield and right rear window. Is that legal? :drunk:
you can do anything you want as long as it slows your car down i think you need to add a parachute ! you think that will work?
Rodknocker 04-04-2007, 11:33 PM I just mounted some side dams, cut out the front windshield and right rear window. Is that legal? :drunk:
Jon have you been sippin on the bull milk?????? You know that you can only cut out the left rear window....
AllahAkbar 04-05-2007, 06:48 AM Parachute, hmmmmmm. I wonder if that would make my car faster in the corner?
Knocker, I have been sippin on bull milk. I mixed it with some Dark Eyes Vodka and Khalua. A little drink I like to call a White Trash White Russian you damn Cheese Head! See you tomorrow, we have the "gently used sheep" waiting in the stable for you and your fellow Wisconsinites!
yokman 04-05-2007, 10:01 AM my sugestion would be to conform to the
BRL rules as you never know what is in store for next year.also NOVAK gave all the guys in 13.5 a sintered rotor at the start of nationals so the are legal now.i could care less if you cut the bodies out for this last race of the year.i will be running mine just like i did last week though.we have had enuff fighting and bickering this season,i say lets just go racing boys and have a good time.
Rodknocker 04-05-2007, 11:49 AM Parachute, hmmmmmm. I wonder if that would make my car faster in the corner?

Cool! So, you don't have to wait for Will's ex-wife to get off work before you leave? :freak:
Rodknocker 04-05-2007, 04:50 PM Nope we don't have to wait shes not going to go this time. We will be there a little later then I thought I have to pick up yukman at 9 that will put us there at 3 your time.
AllahAkbar 04-05-2007, 05:12 PM Huh, funny. Will just called me and said he is going to Janesville this weekend. I thought that was kind of strange, but now it makes sense. You and Yukboy have a safe drive up.
