What brand name are they? FLOYDFROG 09-27-2007, 08:11 PM Those are awesome! I love the old stockers. They had a lot more character than anything in NASCAR today. What brand name are they? Those appear to be manufactured by RCCA (Legends Series) early 1990's :) terry9911 09-29-2007, 11:58 AM Those appear to be manufactured by RCCA (Legends Series) early 1990's :) Yes, and they all have a metal chassis (base) and real rubber tires.   montegogt 10-19-2007, 09:33 AM Great cars! So true. Back when the saying "Win on Sunday, Sell on Monday" really had some true meaning. You new what drivers were driving without having to read their front valance for the model. :) rr FLOYDFROG 10-31-2007, 11:28 PM Here's a few '62 Pontiacs from my collection :) http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b205/steelerfrog/th_100_0829.jpg (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b205/steelerfrog/100_0829.jpg) http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b205/steelerfrog/th_100_0828.jpg (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b205/steelerfrog/100_0828.jpg) http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b205/steelerfrog/th_100_0827.jpg (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b205/steelerfrog/100_0827.jpg) http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b205/steelerfrog/th_100_0826.jpg (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b205/steelerfrog/100_0826.jpg) montegogt 11-06-2007, 11:20 AM Nice! They're barely cars and they sure as heck AIN'T STOCK!!!! They're nothin' but kit cars! (maybe that's an exaggeration) but the old ones were REAL!!! Thanks for posting those beautiful cars - I gotta find them!  harvestoftoys 01-11-2008, 01:11 PM My first car was a 62 Pontiac Catalina convertible, 389 and 4 on the floor. Paid $50 for in in 1972. Atencio 01-17-2008, 01:48 AM Nice collection Floydfrog. The Pontiac is the only RCCA car I don't have. Graphyfotoz 01-17-2008, 05:07 PM While I still like NASCAR a LOT I hafta agree. Loved the days when the took a showroom car and gutted em to race. But then again with todays cars what is there to gut? They are mostly plastic and beer can! :) Ahhh the days of real metal and chrome....now those were cars!!! Graphyfotoz 01-17-2008, 05:19 PM Love the Pontiacs guys! In my 1:25 model car days I made this Factory stock one. Often thought about doing a stock car but never did. I won a few trophies with this bad boy. http://photos.hobbytalk.com/data/519/My_62_Pontiac_1.jpg http://photos.hobbytalk.com/data/519/My_62_Pontiac_2.jpg http://photos.hobbytalk.com/data/519/My_62_Pontiac_3.jpg http://photos.hobbytalk.com/data/519/My_62_Pontiac_4.jpg vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
