If Alpine are the French Porsche, Venturi, also from France, were after Ferrari....didn't quite work, but, they made a good looking car. The model is by Norev.

Nice subject, the only other Venturi models I have seen are slot cars by Fly.

I have seen some, resin hand-built, racing versions, but, this is the only model of a road car that I can recall.

I can actually picture this car as a Audi or Volvo of the near future. The A8 is getting sleeker every year and the Volvo's aren't too far behind. That dark sapphire metalflake is awesome. :cool:
