Anybody besides me watching this? Any opinions, thoughts, discussion? I mean, besides the fact that she's hot?

Jeez, sorry Zor, I never watch TV programs, too many movies to watch! I like the pedigree tho, I think of Treva Silverman, MTM, Rm 222?

Looked it up on IMdb, don't get Showtime. Have enough movies to watch! (good ones that is), including the complete series of Stingray(not a movie).

Did you happen to carch the "Jackie Woodman" show on IFC? I loved that.

gruffy - it's on Comedy Central. Unfortunately my cable provider converted IFC to a pay channel a while back.

I watch it occasionally, I'm lukewarm so far, she can be really funny but sometimes the show descends into 4th grade coarse humor, much like South Park, another show I have a love-hate relationship with.

Silverman's "Jesus is Magic" special that is currently running on Sundance has some good moments too.

I have her on TiVo... well, I don't have her, I have her TV show. Haven't had a chance to watch it so I can't comment on the show. But I can attest that she's hot.

I have been watching - some of it is really funny, other parts of it make me feel REALLY uncomfortable, which is I guess what she is aiming for. After all, she said, "I don't care if you think I'm a racist - I just care if you think I'm thin."

Well, she can have me any time she wants, but she'll have to shut up. :)

I love her when she's acting - she was great (and hot!) in "Greg the Bunny" - but I rarely find her own material funny.

Well, she can have me any time she wants, but she'll have to shut up. :)I feel the same way about Fran Drescher and Rosie Perez; either of them could drain my bank account and leave me for dead by the side of the road just as long as they didn't say a word. ;)

After reading this post I finally watched an episode of The Sarah Silverman Program. I think she's very funny, but the show isn't for me.

I've watched the show a few times ...and it's just not there. I totally get what she's doing and, no doubt, it's actually pretty complex/big brained comedy - too bad it's rarely all that funny. Maybe I've just become so used to the kind of rapid-fire dead-pan craftsmanship that the likes of Steve Colbert wield that the slower pace and over-obvious absurdity SS likes to play with just seems ponderous. Even the potty humor feels over-intellectualized. I don't expect the show to last too long.

...and yes, she's hot, but frankly I've had hotter Jewish girlfriends.
