I used to get the big AF/X sets from Sears for Christmas....

A few years ago at a yard sale I snagged one of the 1973-74? Sears display tracks. A heavy 4 x 8 fibreglas two lane road course, painted, and with molded elevations. Came with all the AFX track, but most had a broken tab. I can remember spending hours at Sears running on this type display, but have never set mine up. I suppose one of these days the nostalgia bug will bite, and I will.

Yes, some pix of that would be great to see. I can remember Sears and Wards having setups in their "toy department" back in the late 60's. Would stand there and drool. :) rr
