I haven't seen that pilot episode in dceades, but I watched the pre-title sequence and remembered it perfectly! What I didn't remember was that the laboratory in the sequence used all Star Trek sound effects!

Now I'm just wondering what's going on with Miami Vice? Are they ever gonna release more seasons?

And what about Hunter? I'm almost done with season 3, there are plenty more to go.

And Taxi? Still waiting for seasons 4 and 5 to show up.

I thought of the Five-O pilot's sensory deprivation tank, during the BSG scene of Baltar's interrogation. ;)

The great thing about H50 that other cop shows miss, is that it didn't have a killer-of-the-week habit. They had clever criminals that never hurt anyone, and it was a battle of wits. My favorite was Hume Cronyn as Lewis Avery Filer, and David Wayne was great as the hotel burglar that was a thrill junkie who would walk into traps to escape them.
