View Full Version : (Updated) Custom Works Spring Sizzler Race Schedule

RC300 03-06-2007, 09:38 PM So Friday night we can't even go in and put our stuff in the building? Really didn't want to have to carry everything into motel room friday, then load back up Saturday morning when I am only 3 miles from the track by early Friday evening. Would be alot easier for all who are there on Friday to at least be able to unload and not have to fight the crowd on Sarturday morning and lug it all across the parking lot. Hope something can be worked out.
Ernie Parison 03-07-2007, 10:22 AM when you say adjust the schedule, does that mean from what you have posted? It will be hard to set up & be ready to hit the track in a half hour.

CBear3 03-07-2007, 04:27 PM You know, the great thing about postponing the race is that the cars were all ready to go for last weekend, so there's not much work I have to do on them. Instead I'm learning the finer points of putting stickers on the car and how to compose my own startup tunes on my Helios.FREEBIRD!

What a good weekend of racing!!!!!! Thanks to Tim, Sonny, Alex and the whole Hobbyplex crew for running a superb show, things went off on time and like clock work. No complaints no problems it couldn't have been a better race event, except maybe if the computer had been right and I had won the B main. LMAO!!!!!!

Thanks Chuck. You guys were right there though. I think maybe the track just changed a bit on Sunday and it happened to work out for me. Allen's could easily go the other way. There are a lot of guys with a really good shot at it. Should be fun!

Big thanks to Tim, Alex, Phil and the rest of the Plex crew for running things so smooth this past weekend. To Custom Works for the support, and also too Wolfman for handling the drive home. It’s been a rough few days but I’m starting to come back to life.
Planing to go back to work tomorrow, I’m sure I will be buried for the next couple of days.
I will try to post points updates and finals info over the weekend.
