Off road this Saturday? Sounds good. You going to have any battery restrictions for the club races for the electric 1/8 classes? I've almost got VE8 ready for some racing. Will see you Saturday, maybe Friday night.

Its awesome to see some interest in 1/8 electric buggies! My dad and I just bought a pair and can't wait to race them. I just need to find the tires that will work the best, get the body painted and head your way  As far as batteries, we are running 4 cell 5100mAh lipo batteries.

I miss some of the nitro fun, but electric alot easier for me to run, having to find someone to pit you, flameouts, ect.... I know in the past Panther K2s and crimefighters worked good on buggies.

Can the F/R diffs on the 8ight 1.0 be shimmed? I'm putting my buggy back together and it seems like i've got excessive play in the pinion/ring gear mesh on my front diff. Or do I have to replace the front gearbox?

Don't know if i'll make it Saturday, unless I don't sleep in between 2 night shifts...

Ninja

shim it.
you may need to shim the pinion gear from the of the inside of the gearbox. Also a new gear box is a good idea.

Ninja JX-21 BO1A w/ Dynomite 053 pipe and header. Tons o power and torque. Plus great runtime. Tyler was getting a little over 13 minutes at HCRC in his Mugen MBX-6T. With temps at 201* after 20 minute A Main.

Sorry, had to get Tyler's sponsor plugs in there. LOL! Any 5 port or more .21 should do you good though. See you guys Saturday.
