Hay don't get me wrong I want Electirc racing, I know there is a big group of racers. It takes a crowd to draw a crowd. Step up make your voice and actions speak... Kevin is a great owner and Loves RC racing.

i will let race what ever shows thats the last thing i want to do is turn people away, we can give it a couple dates and see what shakes out but ill warn ya now we arnt going to rebuild the track for the others. joe and cory work their butts off buillding world class tracks for 1/8th scale buggys and i wont step on any toes there. that being said all of the layouts are elect driveable you just may have to adj your driving style to suit the track.

The track shouldn't have to be changed for electric. It's an offroad track. Why make it easy. It's all about a challenge anyways. The track is awesome and you can tell the track crew has a passion.
Thanx Kevin for being positive. You nitro guys have it good.

i know stateline has become 1/8 only you can see that buy the layouts and thats ok i ran 1/8 scale for 3years. but if your new to rc and want to race you dont go to stateline maybe with rcpro doing something with this new traxxes slash class stateline can open the door for new racers.

the slash series is going to be a six race deal so we could run the elect. stuff in with those. its all good. i think the slash thing will be a lot of fun for not a lot of money. might run them in all kind of stuff on the oval in the grass who knows what.

Ive seen pics of the track and it looks SICK! Theres a few of us up here that need to go down there for some real racing... What kind of tires do you guys run on the track, or what is prefered to run?

Losi Eclipse, Xbt. It's a sandy loamy surface that we keep moisture in throughout the day. Almost any tread design will get you around the the track, some are just faster than others.

Mark Zuber, I see you lurking. You should come race indoor in Danville, the track is huge and the pits are warm. www.hcrcrracing.com

KEVIN!! What's up buddy?? I will say this, You guys ALWAYS have an awesome layout to run 1/10 on.You shouldnt have to worry about guys being whiney about the big jumps and such.I personally enjoy running down there just because it's BIG and FAST.Some 1/10 guys are just too used to being able to clear every jump set on the track, I like having some stuff out there that takes a little thought , and you might have to roll to be fast through.

But now that the MORL series has some 1/8 electric guys on a regular basis I dont think you will hear any complaining from many of us this year:thumbsup:

Looking for some help. Losi Eight, Convertion kit, and Excelorin/1300kv.

1. Is the 1300kv the right motor for a smooth/slower motor that has long run times? Is having to run 5cell packs a big deal with this set up, I notice most guys running 4 cells? Should I go with a different motor?

2. What are the general issues or problems I'll face with set up?

3. Do I send in the esc before I open it to have the firmware updated??
