Here are a few of my massive Siku collection; I got all of these in Germany from various places such as department stores/toy stores, but most came from the flea markets. I love how the cars and trucks are both the same scale, as a lot of brands make their trucks in a much smaller scale than their vehicles.

Mercedes Leibniz Cookies Promotional Truck; I use to eat those cookies all the time when I was in Europe.

Siku Oldsmobile Holiday; a very unique car that only Siku made I believe. I'm still trying to get the dark green version of this car; I saw one on the bay, and it was already more that $70 with days to go. One day

American Shuttle; this truck is huge. It was made in the transition from the old style wheels to the new style in the late 80's, early 90's; that's why the front wheels are different than the ones on the trailer

Here is another promotional item from the company 'Upat,' a VW. I was suprised to find one in such nice condition. It's worth quite a bit of money in Europe, as finding one is quite difficult; don't know how much one would fetch in the US though.

This is one of my favorite trucks; I love any Volvo Semi, but especially love the F12 version.

Volvo German Post; it has fold out ladders from the side of the truck. It's all metal, and is quite heavy. Gotta love the German writing on the side.

Siku Feuerwehr; these proved hard to get in nice condition as well, especially since I was hunting through a flea market. The Range Rover is usually missing the antenna, and the VW is usually missing the ladders.

Siku Faun Crane; This truck is very heavy as well; solid metal. Picked it up at the Zoom Market in Frankfurt (German Department store, like a Wal-Mart).

Fire Engine. Really love this truck, especially since it's the same scale as the VW and Range Rover; doesn't look unrealistic when I pair them all together.

Heitkamp Low Loader. I picked this one up at a German Toys-R-Us; very different than the US Toys-R-Us. The truck was is the worst box ever and I got a discount on it; luckily the truck was still in nice condition:

Almost every company has made a Jeep sometime in their history, here is the Siku version with a camper:

Siku Crane; This crane is even more massive than the American Shuttle above. The Crane raises and extends to about 3 feet tall and 2 feet out:

I don't really know if this truck was a promotional, or just part of their regular line. I couldn't find it in the Siku book, so don't know; then again, my German isn't all that great.

This truck carries six Siku cars: Opel Kadett, Ford Escort, 3 MB's, & one Volvo

This truck is bigger and carries eight Siku Cars: Peugeot 505, Audi Avant, Mercedes Benz, Peugeot 205, Ford Escort, Opel Kadett, VW, & a VW Passat.

wow. I like the style of these a lot... they look really solid. I have an old Siku '63 Corvette with most of the paint gone, it has wheels like your Oldsmobile above...

The v282 blue corvette? I had my chance to pick this one up in mint condition with box; I wish I would have because I can't seem to find another one. It's especially nice; love the headlights on it.

Post pics when you can :) . I will see about digging around in the basement for more, as there are boxes and boxes of them.

yep, that's the one. I just dug it out, and apparently it's not a '63, as it doesn't have the split rear window. Funny what your memory does sometimes... Sadly, this one is missing the headlight jewels on one side, and it's well-worn in general. I picked it up at a flea market a couple years ago specifically because my uncle had one I used to play with when I was little, and I remembered it so well... but I also remember that I colored his with a black permanent marker at one point...

Of the Corvette, there are two versions.
The one you guys are talking about, with the 'diamond' headlights, and one without them. That car has rectangular shaped headlights cast.

I'll get a pic soon of them.

WOW! Thanks for this post, it really brings back some memories. I remember how much I admired and appreciated SIKUs as a kid, as they were quite hard to get. A family from Germany once stayed in our street and their son brought many SIKU cars. When they went back to Germany, he left us kids almost all of his cars. I still have some of them, one is a Jeep CJ-5, just like in your picture, but without a trailer. :)

Nice. My 9 year old daughter would love that one. She is a big Bughatti fan. All ready has rich tastes just like her mother.
