I love the Camaro & Chevelle! Will definitely pick them up if I see them.

They still make the newer superfast?? Are those R.O.W. models? I started collecting the new series when they first came out and got all but 5 or 6 from the first year.. but when they started putting mostly ugly castings into the series I stopped buying them.

Yes there are 2007 series. Wally mart exclusive. Series called the best of US. They have another series called best of british which is sold in the UK. i HAVE SOME OF THOSE AS WELL.

..I feel the same way...wish they would do something about those wheels..the trucks look really good..but they need a better wheel..I do like this style of wheel though....

Just picked up the Camaro --- Ford Model A ---- and the Tractor Cab!!! Left the ugly Chevelle and pasted on the Police car cause I don't collect police cars.Didn't know they were Wally Only cars though???

Saw all but the delivery van this morning at wallys. The Camaro, Chevelle and the CV Fire Chief car came home with me. The interior on the Chevelle is an awful color. I really liked the choice of wheel for the Crown Vic, they look like the one on the real CV Sport models. Great pics SS.

I don't think local WM's will carry these - last time I was there, didn't see any pegs labeled for "Best of US" in the Johnny Lightning area :(

I picked up the Model A this morning,it was nice to finally see some new SF cars. I think eventually I'm gonna do a wheel swap on the model a,the wheels don't quite do it for me.

They just did a nice red Chevelle convetible in the previous Superfast series. Why would they redo it again in an ugly version???

I picked up a couple at WM yesterday..that police car, the blue SL and silver '61 Dodge (neat!). I haven't the seen the gold X5, will have to find that..I passed on the Streakers.

I don't think the Camaro is much better than the Chevelle and that interior color, won't be buying those!

Clark thanks for that I almost overlooked the Camaro. Must have been blinded by the hideous Chevelle. :freak: The Camaro is pretty awful, too.

Don't get me wrong, some Matchbox versions I own are some of my favorite cars, especially the premieres and some of the Barrett Jackson/My Classic Car efforts.

However, I just don't get the Superfast line. Why ruin nice castings with substandard wheels. They had it right with the C6 Corvettes from the first year, and I haven't really seen an SF I had to have since then.

WM is getting these in cases of only 8 cars. Tiny boxes! Still they got at least 3 of them so that's 3 of each of the Chevelle, Camaro, Model A, purple and green Pontiac Solstice :freak: , etc. P-U!

I respect your affection for the wheels but because they are old school MBs doesn't make them appealing to the masses. While it's a nice tribute to years gone by, these wheels need to be upgraded to make the line more appealing to more people in the long run. If there is a legion of dedicated MB collectors that will buy them all up, so be it, but they won't attract as many newer collectors because the wheels look tired and dated. Just my opinion.
