Starter ring gear... do you mean the plastic gear on the starter? or the ring gear on the flywheel?
The plastic gear on the starter should be on hand at most any dealership, as well as TSC.
The ring gear on the flywheel is probably not something that dealers would have on hand, but it still shouldn't take them a week to get it. 3 days or so is likely.
