Description: Up for sale is my HPI Pro4. I bought this car brand new and am the only owner. This car doesnt have tons of bling, but has the key performance upgrades that you need. This is THE car for stock or 19t asphalt racing, Cyclone suspension with shaft drive for super efficiency.
Comes with 2 composite diffs (1 needs rebuild) and 2 pairs of delrin outdrives, plus original one-way. Upperdeck mod is done, so the car wont tweak. I used Magnesium screws to replace the 4 bulkhead screws that are too long when you do this mod.(visible as silver screws in pic). All ballcups replaced recently with HPI Moly cups. Has both 2 & 2.5mm chassis.
Highlights that seperate this Pro4 from the others you may have seen for sale are:
--The suspension has VERY LITTLE slop. I purchased HPI suspension shim kit and have spent the time to shim everything so there is the smallest amount of play without binding. The only thing that has any drag is the steering, and this is only because I had to replace one knuckle. The rest of the shims are included so that you may reshim as parts wear.
--Also this car has HPI ALUMINUM camber plates. Hardly anyone has these, which is a shame because they are tapped for the camber ballstud and also feature 5 mounting positions (graphite are only 4, and so are other brand aluminum)
--Aftermarket Carbon Fiber center shaft- can withstand MUCH more punishment than HPI branded part.
Price
