Just saw and auction on the bay that mentioned a red one of these for sale on a pull-back body. Item no is 6063324633, the describtion says for TJ style chassis. I though these only fitted the XT chassis, mine did, and it is kinda important I know for sure as I may have advised a fellow racer incorrectly.

Hey man, that auction text is contradictory to itself..... at first he says it's an "AFX" body (and it IS an AFX snap on body, NOT a screw posted Tjet) .....then later he says it will fit a Tjet/tuff Ones chassis.

Now I'm SURE that this body could be easily screw posted to fit a Tjet chassis.... but this body even has JL's plastic banding around it.....so it hasn't been screw post converted for Tjets

so it is 100% an XT body?

Many thanks TX. It is noon here so I guess you are up very late or do I have my times zones wrong again?

As for the XT stocker, has anyone weighed one? Seems to me there are much lighter than a Tyco or Tomy Nascar but I could be wrong?

I'm in the Central time zone......so for me it's early morning. I usually get up for work around 5:00-5:30 am .....so on the weekends it's often hard for me to sleep in

Yeah, I have chill time too, cannot understand people who rush around and then get into work with 15 seconds to spare.

Some quick comparisons of weight:

JL Monte Carlo .130 oz - 3.8 g

Tyco Lumina .155 to .165 oz - 4.4 to 4.6 g
Tyco Thunderbird .175 oz - 4.8 g

Tomy AutoTech Camaro .140 oz - 4.0 g

AFX Camaro .115 oz - 3.2 g
AW Camaro .150 oz - 4.2 g

AFX 73 Charger .125 oz - 3.6 g
AW 73 Charger .190 oz - 5.5 g

AFX 240Z .135 oz - 3.8 g
JL 73 Chevelle .175 oz - 4.9 g
AFX Ford Escort .140 oz - 4.0 g
AFX Ferrari Daytona .115 oz - 3.2 g
AFX Dodge Magnum .125 oz - 3.5 g
JL Roadrunner .150 oz - 4.1 g

To compare:
Tomy Indy/F1 body .080 oz - 2.4 g

Strangely, the Tyco Interstate and Hardees Luminas both weighed .155 - 4.4 g with the front air dam. But a Tide Lumina with no airdam and a Superflo with airdam both weighed in at .165 oz - 4.6 g
