ok so i got a few b&s engines and i keep on blowing them up or slinging rods im running a rigged setup on bypassing the govs exturnally hoy do i do is internally if this doesent make any sence tell me
ps im runnnen theese on a go kart

If your spinning a standard Briggs engine faster than 4000 RPM their going to come apart. Briggs does make a line of good racing engines that may better suit your needs. http://www.briggsracing.com/display/router.asp?docid=101243

i ran them 2 6000 before they held 2 gether jus don mat it 4 2 long keep oil in them

um its a lil gear in the engine that flaps open on it ant certian rpm um but yea i fixxed my prob lol had to take some lead outta my foot lol

lol =) found that out today... got the split apart of the engine and tried to take out the governor.. didnt work but i got it to spin at around 5500 RPM... wow it was noisy and the shock i had when the rod came out =)!!

yup... literally, when the block cooled and i touched it, the head just cracked in half =)

i had some spare methanol, had a spare ole jet around... 2+2=slinging a rod

it was OK, if you held your breath, and man! when i took out the oil plug, only like a a few drops came out!
