My snow blower has a Tecumseh 8hp (I think) and when I go to start it it will start nearly first pull every time when choked, but I can not take it off 3/4 choke and if I do it runs very eratic and dies, It is fixed jet and I took the carb off and cleaned but it still will not run unless 3/4 chocked. Please help thanks

If you can supply the model number off of your engine, we might be able to point you in a direction to look at, it most likely is a fuel delivery problem and perhaps may still be a carburetor problem.

Sorry I have not got back to you Tech but after reading some of your other posts about cleaning the tiny holes on the bowl nut I thought I would give it a try and that fixed it. Thankyou
