It's hell. Nothing fits. 3 weeks of sanding, getting everything to fit, only to discover the vac canopy bears no resemblance to the shape of the fuselage where it's supposed to fit.

But I'm trying a new attitude: never give up, never surrender! I'm gonna finish it if it kills me! :freak:

i can see the shape of the canopy, it has a special shape that has to fit right. are you going to scratch build one ? I wonder why they make parts that don't match where they are supossed to go ? 3 weeks is a lot of time invested to find that out, sure must be aggravating to say the least. other than that, thats a nice plane.

I'd never heard of the XP-67 Moonbat until just now. It's an interesting and quite beautiful aircraft — looks way ahead of its time with its blended wing-fuselage-nacelles.

I'm doing the canopy open. There's a better chance of forcing three pieces to fit if they don't need to be seen to fit together.

Same problem on another kit of theirs I built a few years ago - it's all done except the canopy, which I can't make fit to save my life.

Their shouldn't be dead lights on the sail,otherwise it's verry cool.The windows on the conning tower were eliminated from Seaview when it sported the new designin season two.

Hey Bert, when can we expect to see your Seaview model? I may just have to build me one. The design is kinda growing on me.

The original Seaview model is now part of a piece of "sculpture" in the backyard of a guy in Las Vegas. I'm not kidding! It's an ignominious end for a model of its' stature.

I have always liked the seaview.
