View Full Version : Anyone have any finished Revell 1998 Firebrid Model for show or SALE? WLCollector 02-10-2007, 11:11 PM Hello, first off has anyone made a Revell 1998 Pontiac Firebird and would like to show it. Second would anyone like to sell it? superduty455 02-12-2007, 10:02 AM I can custom build one for you, but it's not cheap. Cost of the kit, paint and materials plus time. I can do most any color. LMK if you are interested. Chris WLCollector 02-12-2007, 09:11 PM well... e-mail me a price. superduty455 02-13-2007, 11:52 PM Sent ya an email. Let me know either way. Chris WLCollector 02-15-2007, 02:28 AM I never got your e-mail. fluke 02-15-2007, 02:54 AM That was a BIG drag....I wuz kinda excited about that kit....it was advertised as an 2 in one model ...thinking maybe V6 or V8?....but it was only the V8 and the only thing that I could see that made it a 2 in one was the fact that it had 2 options of wheels......since when is that a 2 in one kit? I own a 98 bird V6 and really wanted to build my car :-( Sorry....I never bought the kit.... but good luck! Whats the deal? not a good builder?.....it's still in most hobby shops or on superduty455 02-15-2007, 04:56 PM Alright, sent you a PM. Wonder why the email never made it. Fluke, you are right, it was a dissapointment to myself that the only changes to make this car a 2-n-1 was to add bigger wheels and tires, nothing more. I don't believe their is a kit out their with the engine you need to convert the bird to a V6. Maybe the old Grand Prix kits. The car builds nicely if you take the time to dry fit and test. I've seen some great builds of this car. WLCollector, let me know either way. Thanks Chris WLCollector 02-15-2007, 08:23 PM I have a spare V6 engine that came out of a 2001 V6 firebird 1:24 scale. You could custom fit in into the model kit. fluke 02-15-2007, 10:34 PM Thanks Dudes! But the engine is the last thing on my mind.....You forgot about the whole difference in the nose ....that would be a lot of work to make it my hood, spoiler and nose style. Its my first 'financed' rod and I wasn't thinking with my head when I did it  ....at least its only at 9473000 miles! not bad for a 98 huh? 2nd owner. AC, monsoon stereo, power mirrors, power windows, brakes, abs etc....most of that is prety standard I guess. Untill now all the cars I have owned where 67 to 71....V8's like two cougars 67 & 68, one 71 RS camero w/ 350, 71 AMC Javelin SST-304 and even a 71 Maverick. I can't even change the spark plugs on my 98 bird :drunk: vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
