dave i will be running JBR cells. Justin was helping me this weekend and with these volatile cells ib is passing off on the americans I probably would have missed one of the "A's"! Lots of 3 cell packs out there. Thank you Justin, way to be there in crunch time!!

i have a question????????? nothing against the mod guys at ALL you are some fast cats BUTT>>>>why does it seem like mod guys are so elite??? stock is the class i run and was the biggest class at the birds and it seems like stock guys are for lack of a better term the entry level guys??? did you see the guy that won the b main and bumped to the a and came home in the 4th spot? i was impressed! or the salvis guys with a few wins!~ archterlonie,miller behler,tyson etc! those guys make very few mistakes! would the mod guys be able to beat them????????? just curios because i am new to the sport! i think pro stock would be in order! i would love to see those mod guys run against the stock guys.personaly i was most impressed with ulbrik in the 4300 class wow!.....my first trip to the birds was a fun one! i must say the orl gang was strong in stock thats why i love to race where i live! if you can run with them you can run with any body!!!! oh and Cmon

the GA DAWG got lucky.he had a good car and lots of help.i think it was a rip car.they must have the best hands down team that works together.might have to get me one.lol if troy can make the show then i will be able to for sure.

almost all of the mod guys run mod because they have many years of oval racing under there belts. they have ran stock and 19 turn and a few other classes the past 20 years. 90% of the 4 cell mod guys ran the 4300 class...100% of them made the A and B mains. they run mod because they are the elite group of oval racers. they are the pinnacle of our hobby and oval racing. and 90% of them will take the time and help you IF you ask. they put there pants on one leg at a time and i know from walking into a bathroom after them that there sheot stinks like the rest of ours.

if they seem like they are out of touch with "joe racer" it's only because they are trying to figure out how to get another tenth faster on the track.

do i think the stock class at the birds is hard to make the A main in? oh hell yeah!

if frank ulbrik entered stock and TQ'd and won there would be a thread on here 28 pages long about how he was cherry picking.

do i think anyone can make a 4 cell mod car look good going around the track? no way!

do i think anyone can make a stock car look good going around the track? yes/no but doing circles with a stock car is alot easier. doing fast circles with a stock car is another story.

"Entry level" is exactly right, we have some serious talent in stock but it's also a starting point, so you get a real mix of talent, where as in modified it consists of mainly highly experienced vet's that have a TON of knowledge, which deserves alot of respect hence the "elite" status.
So, no disrespect to the stock guy's by any means :thumbsup:
