X man 02-10-2007, 10:01 AM thougth so got one in my solid car. Dan  erock1331 02-12-2007, 01:17 PM If you want other options and dont mind spending a little more Try a KOPropo PDS949 I had a KO947 and then tried both the Futaba 9650 and 9550 and prefered the feel on the KO's better. The 949 is the replacement for the 947. You can program the 949 if you want using their software and a laptop or their handheld device. I never messed with all that though. SQIDWRD 02-16-2007, 08:30 PM Is it true that the 9650 only works with an FM radio? OvalTrucker 02-16-2007, 08:42 PM It's a digital servo and requires a certain type of signal for 'centering' that AM radios are not capable of. So, you have to have an FM, PCM or DSM radio. SQIDWRD 02-16-2007, 08:45 PM that's what I thought.. thank you Brad Sousa 02-16-2007, 09:32 PM 9650 is my choice also. lol  rjbinaz 02-28-2007, 04:49 PM What is it about the Futaba 9650 that makes it the servo of choice? J-Dub Racing 02-28-2007, 04:57 PM The 9650 is light, fast, and digital. And isn't very expensive. Plus it is a futaba, is there anything better? Joel White omnis85 02-28-2007, 04:58 PM price is decent, good amount of tq etc for oval and general size and futaba is a good product availible most of the time.anything more isnt realy needed unless for onroad IndyRC_Racer 02-28-2007, 05:02 PM Anyone out there running a JR servo? What is the JR equivalent to the 9650? vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
