Running 64 bit version. My buddy had me type in a command to fix my update problem. That is resolved, but now I need this to go away.

I get his message whenever I log in.

Executing C\windows\system32\wlnotify.dll

How do I turn this off. It is making my computer crawl.

check your startup programs.
from your "runline" (start>run)
type : msconfig (hit enter)
check the tap that reads "startup" and see if your wlnotify is listed in there. take the checkmark off, apply, ok - restart.
after your login again, the msconfig will automatically come up. you can close it.


turning things off in your "startup" wont hurt your computer, so dont worry about something not working. don't mess with anything else.
