Here's my next nominee for inclusion in the Greenlight line-up:

1973 Chevrolet Monts Carlo

This was one of the most popular and desirable cars in the US during the 1970s, and I think that it could even be ordered with the 454 for a couple of years there. It was also popular in racing for many years.

(I like the '73 best because of the inset taillight design which was used only for that year.)

I can't believe that no one has made a precision diecast model of it in 1/64 or 1/72 yet. Will GL be the pioneer?

I agree they ought to make this one. Though I don't think this body style is as pretty as the first generation, it still is a nice looking car and, I too, have always like the 73 best because of the taillights and less obtrusive rear bumper. Along with this one, they also should do all the other 73 GM mid-size cars. I also have always like the 73 Century Luxus/Regal, and Cutlass Supreme. Also would like to see a 73 Chevelle SS wagon, as it was a one year only oddity.

Definitely a great choice!!! I love those mid 70's Monte Carlos.

BTW, Hotwheels made one (not precision) in 1:64 back in the 70's.

If they did the mold right, they could get from '73 to '77, but not sure the '77 would sell real well.
