Does anyone here ever play Star Trek: Armada or Armada II?

i played II for a while. got the book to help with strategy. was fun. never finished it though. was close!

I play Armada frequently.
I have had it for years, and still enjoy it.
For a long time, my favorite ship was the Steamrunner - class.
They're like long range bombers. I'll put eight in a squadron and
devastate bases.

I read reviews of Armada II and decided not to get it.
I think I read that they changed the game play enough
that I knew I wouldn't like it.

I wish Activision would release some kind of supplement for
Armada that adds more ships, and maybe new missions.

I like what I have. I don't want a totally new game!
