I have a small problem I am working on a 12.5 hp briggs I/C it was given to me with a broken connecting rod. no scoring on the cylender no damage to piston. just broken rod. I replaced it started the engine no sounds ran good for 3 min then it just stoped another broked rod????? lost as to what to do next

well, to see what has happened, the only way is to take it back out and pop the sump off..... but if it stopped abruptly, it was either from it seizing, or the rod did break again.
