Hey everyone. just have a few questions. was wondering what size the track is and if its banked or flat? Do you guys run 4 cell stock? and last but not least, where is this track in syracuse? is it near the state fairgrounds? any information will be great. thanks guys

im not sure about the exact size, it is flat, we run 19 1/12 stock 1/12, stock and 19 1/10, and trucks.

its off of 690 west exit 5. turn right on state fair boulevard. and take very next right. walts is the 1st building on the right. its 2 dwight park drive.

Track has about a 110' racing line with fairly wide turns. Most of the people are running KSGs or 10Ls, but there are few others. I believe the track record is held by a RIP.

Rocket, Racedays are Tuesdays and Saturdays. On Tuesday racing starts about 6:30 and not sure what time racing starts on saturday, I think it is around noon??? Every third week they convert the oval to a road coarse. This Tuesday Feb 6 will be a road coarse week.

I believe it is more of a beginner class than what I would call a "spec" class. As far as I know, the rules are the same as the stock class.

You are correct Dave, the spec class has the same rules as stock. The drivers have a lot less experience running carpet than the stock class. It is meant to allow us to improve our driving skills before racing the good guys. It helps to promote cleaner racing in the stock class.
