i have a futaba 3pk with the spektrum in it and in only 1 car it does not go on a heads up start. now in the heats it is fine. i sent everything back to spektrum to get updated and have started using the power cap
this is only happening in my stock car.
has anyone else had this problem?

Alan I had that problem last year and put in a diffrent speedo and have not had the problem since.

Alan..Joe is right...looks like a BEC problem from your esc...

btw ..good job again on your results this past week-end...manage again a podium finish...wish i could have attend...but was busy preparing my stuff for the southern trip...leaving tuesday...

eric back in september my car did it at maximus in the main since then i changed speedos and sent my stuff to spektrum.
i had a quantum 2 in it and now have a MRT so i am thinking it is my radio or something

I had the same issue in addition to others. A receiver pack took care of it. I also know a few people that in addition to the cap for the speedo were plugging a cap into the receiver also.

why would i only have to do it with this 1 car or 1 radio?

i also let a buddy use my car with a different radio and it didnt do it
