Finally getting around to finishing a Guillow F6F that I've had for years. I cannot find paint for balsa models anywhere in Seattle or on-line for that matter.

I need simple stuff like clear dope, thinner, balsa wood filler. Any suggestions?

Are you going to fly it ? Or are you doing a scale build ? If your doing a scale you can paint it with any mdoeling paint from enamel to acyrlics .. I used floquil for mine and a few others . I primed it with Krylon .. You can try to find products from SIG online i finished a 1 to 3/4 scale JU87 this spring.. It came out really nice If you want got to a Craft store like Michael's or AC Moore and get cheap acrylics ... Jeff New Columbia , PA :thumbsup:
