ECchopper 01-19-2007, 11:01 AM Yes, but in a notebook, not on my computer. Did you have a specific question I can try to answer for you? 68 signet 01-20-2007, 02:45 AM how many bikes did they do in 2005, 2006, 2007. i havnt seen any for a long time i have up to jj-05-18-12 is ther any after this. thanks for your help ECchopper 01-20-2007, 12:09 PM Starting in August of 2003, there were 19 releases in all, four in each release for a total of 76 bikes. The last release was sometime in the summer (?) of 2005. There were 2 more releases after your JJ05-18-12, up to #20. I have the complete set (also have the 1:32s, 1:10s and all 11 in the 1:5th scale) I've been thinking about putting together a photobucket album for them, but in the meantime, I typed up a list for you. See next post. Hope it helps. Also, you're aware of the new bikes from MGA entertainment? http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?t=171635 ECchopper 01-20-2007, 02:04 PM 2003 Release A Aug. #JJ03-18-01 CHERRY CFL- candy red/ chrome tank -02 CFL RIGID- black/chrome tank -03 EL DIABLO RIGID- green/blue -04 EL DIABLO II- liquid purple Release B Sept. -05 EL DIABLO RIGID- black -06 EL DIABLO II- liquid bronze/flames -07 CHERRY CFL- liquid blue/pinstriped flames -08 CFL RIGID- liquid purple/flames Release C Oct. -09 EL DIABLO RIGID- flat red/pinstriping -10 EL DIABLO II- liquid green/flames -11 CHERRY CFL- flat black/flames -12 CFL RIGID- white/flames Release D Nov. -13 EL DIABLO II- red/flames -14 CFL RIGID- liquid blue/flames -15 EL DIABLO RIGID- black/pinstriping -16 CHERRY CFL- black/flames Release E Dec. -17 EL DIABLO II- black/flames -18 CFL RIGID- black/flames -19 CHERRY CFL- liquid yelow/flames -20 EL DIABLO RIGID- liquid red/pinstriping Release F Dec -21 STURGIS SPECIAL- liquid blue/flames -22 CFL RIGID- dark red/flames -23 EL DIABLO RIGID- liquid gold/pinstriped flames -24 CHERRY CFL- liquid green/flames 2004 Release A Jan. #JJ04-18-01 STURGIS SPECIAL- liquid red/flames -02 CFL RIGID- silver/flames -03 EL DIABLO RIGID- liquid orange/flames -04 CHERRY CFL- pearl white/flames Release B Feb. -05 STURGIS SPECIAL- silver/flames -06 CHANGO BLANCO- rust -07 EL DIABLO II- black/flames -08 EL DIABLO RIGID- metallic brown Release C Mar. -09 STURGIS SPECIAL- liquid bronze/flames -10 CFL RIGID- flat blue/pinstriping -11 EL DIABLO II- liquid red/pinstriping -12 EL DIABLO RIGID- primer green/flames Release D Apr. -13 STURGIS SPECIAL- reflex blue -14 CFL RIGID- orange -15 EL DIABLO II- black/flames -16 DIABLO SOFTTAIL- green Release E July -17 EL DUCE- pearl blue -18 BARFLY- black -19 DIABLO SOFTTAIL- orange -20 PENNY SAVED- liquid gold yellow Release F Aug. -21 BARFLY- liquid lime green -22 BLING CFL- black/red -23 EL DUCE- liquid red/flames -24 DOMINATOR- liquid gold yellow/rust (Coors bike) Release G Sept. -25 PENNY SAVED- liquid copper -26 DIABLO SOFTTAIL- blue/skull flames -27 TYLOW'S- black -28 BARFLY- liquid red/skull flames Release H Jan.'05 -29 EL DUCE- liquid deep blue/flames -30 BLING CFL- light pearl charcoal -31 DOMINATOR- liquid lime green -32 TYLOW'S- black chrome 2005 Release A #JJ05-18-01 PENNY SAVED- liquid bronze -02 DOMINATOR- neon blue -03 DIABLO SOFTTAIL- orange -04 CHERRY CFL- red Release B -05 STURGIS SPECIAL- metallic grape -06 BLING CFL- black/green -07 BARFLY- bright copper -08 DIABLO SOFTTAIL- orange Release C -09 EL DIABLO RIGID- liquid blue -10 BARFLY- med. green -11 DIABLO SOFTTAIL- orange -12 DOMINATOR- black/red frame Release D -13 TYLOW'S- light coppertone/true flames -14 CFL RIGID- liquid deep blue -15 BLING CFL- black -16 DIABLO SOFTTAIL- orange Release E -17 DIABLO SOFTTAIL- orange -18 DOMINATOR- chrome violet -19 EL DUCE- primer black/flames -20 PENNY SAVED- candy apple green Lightningrick 01-20-2007, 04:58 PM Great list. ECchopper 01-20-2007, 05:28 PM Thanks, Rick. I may possibly have some of the numbers wrong in the first 3 releases. The bikes are right, but the numbers may be inverted. I have to dig all the boxes out of my attic and double check them. 68 signet 01-21-2007, 04:06 AM thanks for the list that really helps. i aslo found 2 new one that are gold and red package. but no # on them. is ther more than that for this year. click on pic to make it bigger. ECchopper 01-22-2007, 12:29 PM Yes, that's it so far this year. But... look for the gold digger bike in bare metal (or zamac as some people call it) http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y192/ECchopper/West%20Coast%20Choppers/bikes/1-18th%20MGA%20releases/100_4768_0001.jpg And the El Diablo http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y192/ECchopper/West%20Coast%20Choppers/bikes/1-18th%20MGA%20releases/_MG_1102.jpg 68 signet 01-22-2007, 09:34 PM do you have a extra of the bare metal one??? ECchopper 01-25-2007, 03:12 PM Those are hard to come by. Some people are calling them a chase piece, but I'm not 100% sure about that. I'm trying to find legitimate info. Hard to come by???? I may have thought so back then. sebastine911 11-19-2010, 04:41 PM Hello ECchopper ! I too am an huge collector of 1/18 scale motor bikes. Are you still collecting ? If you ever want to sell any of your bikes, I'm always interested. P.S. I have 450 1/18 scale bikes (all dofferent). Cheers, Walter ECchopper 11-22-2010, 12:06 PM Oh yeah, still collecting. Not planning on parting with my collection anytime soon, and if I did, the bikes would be the last to go! I'd be interested in seeing your collection, got pix? Check out the latest addition.... One of a kind prototype Sturgis Special straight from the man hisbadassself... http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y192/ECchopper/West%20Coast%20Choppers/prototypes/100_6857.jpg Also have prototypes of all the MGA cars. Feel free to browse through my photobuckets albums, they're open to the public http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y192/ECchopper/West%20Coast%20Choppers/ FlipD80 05-12-2011, 12:15 AM Hello, I'm new and this is my very first post. So guess y'all will get an email saying someone poster on this topic. Anyways, I dug my small collection out of the box that they have been in for the past 5 years. I have 41 total, JJ03-18-01 thru JJ04-18-16. The extra one is special, I guess. It's an El Diablo Rigid (JJ04-18-08) in the wrong box. It's in a Sturgis Special box (JJ04-18-05) never opened. But I guess the main thing I'm wanting to know is, are any of these 41 worth much? Also, are they worth more as a complete set, individually, or in the proper set of 4? ECchopper 05-12-2011, 10:43 AM Since I have them all, I haven't been following what they've been selling for on Ebay, but I would start there. Keep an eye on the new listings and check out completed listings. As far as selling them individually, or as a set, that's a hard call. The El Diablo in the Sturgis Special won't really be worth much more, I'm afraid. Just a packaging error. I've got a few of those myself. PM me directly if I can help you with anything. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
